INTRODUCTION
To lead the team that performs data extraction, transformation, loading and analysis specific to the financial analytics environment.
Responsible for design, development and maintenance of data marts utilised within Financial Analytics.
Ensure efficiency, best in class architecture and innovative ways to incorporate all available data sources within reporting, visualisation and analytical efforts.
Ensure that accurate and quality information is compiled and key recommendations and enhancements are made to the extraction, warehousing and visualisation process to ensure near real-time analytical capability.
REQUIRED SKILL SETS
A completed 3-year Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Economics, Maths, Computer Science or Engineering is a MINIMUM requirement.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data management and integration with specific experience in data management within risk, financial and statistical analysis.
Strong programming skills with querying languages: SQL, SAS, etc.
Experience with big data tools will be beneficial: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, etc.
Experience with other data and analytical tools: C, C++, JAVA, or other programming languages.
